Call for Speakers/Workshops

The Louisiana Division of the International Association for Identification (LAIAI) will be hosting its 78th Annual Educational Conference on May 21-23 (Tues-Thurs), 2024. The 2024 conference will be hosted in Lafayette, LA.

Our goal is to provide law enforcement and lab analysts in our state, and surrounding states, with the best possible training around! LAIAI is made up of over 100 members from several disciplines in law enforcement and forensic science, including Crime Scene Investigators, Fingerprint Examiners, Jail/Booking Personnel,, Photographers, Evidence Custodians, Uniform Patrol Officers, and many others.

If you are interested in speaking or leading a workshop on any of the disciplines listed above, or anything else that would be educational to our members, please contact Karly Ridgell, Secretary/Treasurer @ Karly.ridgell@la.gov with your proposal.  We can accommodate any timeframe you may need and also have Zoom capabilities to utilize virtual presenters. 

In addition to contributing to the continuing education and sharing your subject matter expertise, you can use this as an opportunity to promote any publications, etc. you may have. 

We appreciate your contributions and continued support in our organization as we strive to educate our members and peers on the most recent and best practices of our forensic disciplines.
